Healing Hands Sanctuary is conveniently located just off the A90 in Lonmay, between Fraserburgh and Peterhead. There is ample on-site parking.

What is Reiki and how can it help me?

Reiki (Rei - universal, ki - life force} is an energy healing practice that promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Reiki is based on the idea of "life force energy" flowing through the body. Reiki practitioners act as conduits to channel universal life force energy, helping to promote healing and balance. Reiki also works to balance and unblock the body's chakras. Chakras are energy centres in the body where life force energy congregates and flows, helping to maintain a balance between the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the body. When chakras become unbalanced or blocked, it results in physical, emotional, and mental imbalances.

Reiki is becoming increasingly recognised as a complementary therapy within NHS settings, and some healthcare professionals now refer patients for complementary therapies, such as Reiki.

What can you expect from a Reiki session?

A Reiki session offers a deeply relaxing and restorative experience. You’ll remain fully clothed, lying comfortably while the practitioner gently places their hands just above or lightly on the body. Reiki energy flows where it is needed most, helping to release blockages, calm the mind, and restore balance to your energy field. Many clients feel warmth, tingling, or a soothing sense of peace, while others simply drift into a meditative state of rest. Each session is unique, but the intention is always the same — to support healing, harmony, and a deeper connection to your true self.

A crystal healing session is a gentle, sacred experience designed to nurture your mind, body, and spirit. As you rest fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table, crystals are placed on and around you to harmonize your energy field and support the flow of life force through your chakras. Many people experience warmth, tingling, or waves of peace as the stones work to clear blockages and restore balance. Each session is unique, guided by your intention and the natural wisdom of the crystals. You’ll leave feeling lighter, centred, and more connected to your inner self.

Terms and Conditions

**1. Introduction**

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Alison Hart, trading as Healing Hands Sanctuary (hereafter referred to as "the Practitioner") and the client (hereafter referred to as "the Client") regarding Reiki services provided. By booking a session, the Client agrees to these terms.

**2. Services Offered**

The Practitioner offers Reiki and Crystal Healing sessions, which may include hands-on or hands-off techniques to promote relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being. The Practitioner does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

**3. Client Responsibilities**

- The Client must provide accurate health information and inform the Practitioner of any medical conditions or concerns prior to the session.

- The Client understands that Reiki and Crystal Healing are complementary to traditional medical care and should not replace medical treatment.

**4. Session Duration and Fees**

- Sessions typically last 60 minutes.

- The fee for each session is £35.00 per hour or £20.00 per hour for distant reiki.

**5. Cancellation Policy**

- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee of 50% of the cost of the session you booked.

**6. Confidentiality**

The Practitioner respects the Client's privacy and confidentiality. All information shared during sessions will remain confidential unless disclosure is required by law.

**7. Liability Waiver**

The Client acknowledges that Reiki and Crystal Healing are holistic practices and agrees to release the Practitioner from any liability for injuries or damages that may occur during or after the session.

**8. Code of Conduct**

The Client agrees to conduct themselves in a respectful manner during sessions. Any inappropriate behaviour may result in the termination of the session without a refund.

**9. Amendments**

The Practitioner reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes prior to their next session.

**10. Children under 16**

Clients under the age of 16 are welcome, but they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The parent/guardian will be asked to give signed consent to allow treatment and must remain present for the treatment at all times. I reserve the right to ask for ID and refuse to provide the service paid for if I believe an unaccompanied child is under the age of 16.

**11. Disclaimer**

Reiki and Crystal Healing are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

**12 Acceptance of Terms**

By booking a session, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
